The MB655030 is the smallest enclosure in the MB Series, a 65 x 50 x 30 mm two-tone box. It is a rugged instrument enclosure for small printed circuit boards in hand-held, desktop or wall mount applications.
The box is molded in polystyrene, with a smooth light gray lid (RAL 7035) and smooth dark gray bottom (RAL 7012). Front and rear panels are an integral part of the bottom unit. The four cover screws thread into integrated brass inserts and are hidden in a recess in the base, so the lid can be removed repeatedly.
Outside dimensions are 2.56 x 1.97 x 1.18 in (65 x 50 x 30 mm). The internal space is 59 mm long, 44 mm wide and 24 mm deep. With its solid lid the MB655030 is rated IP40, and the polystyrene is UL94 HB.
It is supplied boxed with the enclosure, lid, four cover screws and four P.C. board screws. Recommended cover screw torque is 2.5 lbf-in (30 cN-m). Shipping weight is 0.09 lbs (0.04 kg). The part is RoHS and REACH compliant, and STEP or IGES solid models are available.
