The M3299-1231 is a mid-size rectangle-profile handle in the 1427 & M series of metal handles, sized for panels that allow 3.00 in (76 mm) between mounting holes. It gives OEM engineers, integrators and case builders a modern, heavy duty extruded aluminum pull for rack panels, enclosure lids and instrument fronts.
Construction is extruded aluminum with a clear matte anodized finish. The drawing shows an overall length of 87.50 mm [3.445 in], a clear grip span of 63.50 mm [2.500 in], a depth of 40.00 mm [1.575 in] and a 7.80 mm [0.307 in] profile width. The series table lists 1.58 in (40 mm) depth and 0.31 in (8 mm) width, and the part page describes it as a 3.4" x 1.6" handle.
The handle mounts from the rear of the panel into two M4x0.7-6H tapped holes that are 15.00 mm [0.591 in] deep. Two panhead M4 x 12 screws and two washers are included. Each handle is sold singly.
