Hammond HYW363016SS 36x30x16 Deep Hygienic Stainless Wall Enclosure

HYW363016SS is the 16 in deep version of the 36 x 30 in hygienic wallmount enclosure: 36 in high, 30 in wide and 16 in deep (914 x 762 x 406 mm). It encloses electrical and electronic equipment where harsh, hygienic conditions and hose-down cleaning are part of daily operation, and the extra depth suits builds that need more room front to back.

Construction is formed, smooth 304 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a natural #4 dairy finish on both cover and enclosure. The top slopes at 25° so water does not rest on it, and it also offers potential for controls mounting. Door stiffeners are provided where required.

For equipment mounting, collar studs accept the optional 18P3327 inner panel (33.00 x 27.00 in / 838 x 686 mm), and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts is included. The enclosure has no pre-drilled wall mounting holes, leaving the installer free to weld it in place or mount it on stand-offs. A bonding stud sits on the door and a grounding stud is installed in the enclosure. Per the drawing, overall height is 42.76 in and overall depth 16.86 in.

The HYW363016SS is listed UL 508A and cUL Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and IEC 60529 IP66, IP69 and IP69K, and meets NSF/ANSI 169. Shipping weight is 120 lbs (54.43 kg).
