Hammond HYG2424 24-Inch Square Hygienic Replacement Silicone Gasket

The HYG2424 replaces the door gasket on the square 24 x 24 in enclosures of the HYW Series of Hygienic Type 4X Stainless Steel Wallmount Enclosures. It is listed for the HYW24248SS, HYW242410SS and HYW242412SS, which are all 24.00 in (610 mm) high and 24.00 in (610 mm) wide, in depths of 8.00 in, 10.00 in and 12.00 in.

In the HYW design the silicone gasket, coloured hygienic blue, mounts around the entire door edge so it can be cleaned efficiently in hygienic environments. It can be easily removed and re-installed for cleaning or replacement. The door-edge gasket and internal hinges are what allow the enclosures to be cleaned easily in hose-down environments, so keeping the gasket in good condition matters.

The HYG2424 is listed at 24 in x 24 in x 1 in (610 mm x 610 mm x 25 mm) with a shipping weight of 2 lbs (0.91 kg). All three mating enclosures take the optional 18P2121 inner panel, which is 21.00 in x 21.00 in.

The gasket is listed REACH compliant and RoHS compliant and is identified by UPC 623980138862 and UNSPSC 39121324. One part number covers every depth of the 24 x 24 in HYW enclosure, which keeps spares inventory simple.
