The HWST16168SS is a 304 stainless steel Waterfall series wallmount enclosure measuring 16 x 16 x 8 in (406 x 406 x 203 mm). It is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment in harsh industrial environments. The top is sloped at 25° to keep water from resting on it, and the hinges are designed for easy cleaning in hose-down areas.
The body is formed stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a formed lip to exclude flowing liquids and contaminants, sealed with a seamless poured-in place gasket. The door is secured by 316 stainless steel quarter turns with a slot that requires a tool to open, and hangs on 316 stainless steel hinges that open 180 degrees and are removable and interchangeable. Door stiffeners are provided where required. Cover and enclosure are natural stainless with a smooth brushed finish.

The HWST16168SS is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, NSF/ANSI 169, and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66 and IP69K. It is REACH and RoHS compliant with a shipping weight of 31 lbs (14.06 kg). HWST16168S16 is the 316 stainless version.
