The HWST16128SS is a 304 stainless steel Waterfall series enclosure measuring 16 x 12 x 8 in (406 x 305 x 203 mm). It is built to protect electrical and electronic equipment on a wall in harsh industrial environments, with a top sloped at 25° so water cannot rest on it, and a hinge design that is easy to clean in hose-down areas.
Formed stainless steel is continuously welded with seams ground smooth, and a formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. The door seals on a seamless poured-in place gasket and is held by 316 stainless steel quarter turn latches that need a tool to open. Its 316 stainless steel hinges open 180 degrees, remove easily for modifications and are interchangeable. Door stiffeners are provided where required, and both cover and enclosure have a smooth brushed natural stainless finish.

Included is a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall mounting holes. The HWST16128SS is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, meets NSF/ANSI 169, and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66 and IP69K. It is REACH and RoHS compliant and weighs 27 lbs (12.25 kg) shipped. The 316 stainless version is HWST16128S16.
