The HWM2424U20BK is a 24U enclosed swing-out wall-mount rack cabinet with a vented front door, built for IT and telecom installations that need a secure enclosure plus full rear access. It is part of the HWM Series, a UL2416 listed range designed for mounting 19-inch rack equipment in network closets and communication rooms.
Construction is mild steel: a 14-gauge welded rear section with a 16-gauge center section and doors, finished in RAL9005 Black powder coat. The center section swings out on heavy-duty spring hinges (concealed hinges on the door) so technicians can reach the back of installed equipment, and the cabinet body is reversible so the swing direction can be changed on site. The HWM Series is rated by UL2416 to 350 lb (159 kg) and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10.
Overall size is 48.75 in x 24.68 in x 25.7 in (1,238 mm x 627 mm x 653 mm) with a 20 in center section depth. Usable mounting space is 42.00 in (1067 mm) high x 19.00 in (483 mm) wide x 22.85 in (580 mm) deep — the maximum equipment depth that still lets the body section swing out unimpeded. One pair of adjustable 19-inch tapped 10-32 panel rails and a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws are included.
Multiple double cable-entry knockouts in the top, bottom and sides plus a rear cable opening support structured cabling, and a fan knockout pattern accepts optional DNMF100AC115 or DNMF100AC230 fans. HWM2424U20BK is manufactured in Canada and TAA compliant.

HWM2424U20BK includes one pair of adjustable 19" tapped 10-32 panel rails and a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws for equipment mounting. Square hole rails (HWMSR24U) and extra tapped rails (HWMTR24U) are available separately.
