Hammond HWF3048U36WH 48U White Swing-Out Wall and Floor Cabinet

HWF3048U36WH is a 48U swing-out wall and floor mount rack cabinet in RAL9003 White, built for IT and telecom teams that need to mount 19-inch rack equipment where wall-only support is not enough. The HWF hybrid design fastens to the wall while sitting on the floor on leveling feet, reducing wall load while keeping heavy, high-density equipment stable.

The cabinet uses a 14-gauge welded rear section and base with a 16-gauge swing-out section, fabricated from mild steel and finished in a white textured powder coat. The swing-out centre section is caster supported (with caster cover) and uses concealed hinges, a safety pin lock-out and two remote latches, so installers get full front and rear access for cabling and servicing without pulling equipment out of the rack.

Overall dimensions are 96.68 in x 30 in x 35 in (2,456 mm x 762 mm x 889 mm), with usable mounting space of 84.00 in (2134 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 33.50 in (851 mm) deep. The rack provides 48U plus 6U of bonus rack units, including a 3U top section for fans, cable management or power distribution. One pair of adjustable tapped 10-32 rails is supplied (field-replaceable with square hole rails, sold separately), along with a starter hardware pack of SCREW1032-50 screws and CLPKIT1032-25 clip nuts and screws. Shipping weight is 390 lbs (176.90 kg); doors are not included.

Multiple conduit knockouts, cable lances and large rear cable openings support structured cabling and mounting over electrical services, and dedicated bonding and grounding points assist code-compliant installation. The HWF Series is cULus listed under UL2416 with a 700 lb (317 kg) load rating, seismic rated to 400 lb (181.44 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10, TAA compliant and manufactured in North America.
