Hammond HWCWD2412UBK 12U Tinted Acrylic Window Locking Door

The HWCWD2412UBK is a lockable tinted acrylic window door sized for 12U, 24 in wide Hammond HWC Series wall mount cabinets. It is intended for IT and AV integrators, facilities teams and OEM builders who need to secure and visually monitor mounted equipment in a wall enclosure without opening the cabinet.

Construction is 16-gauge steel with a smoked acrylic viewing panel measuring 0.24 in (6 mm) thick, finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat that complies with Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. The door measures 24 in x 24 in x 1.34 in (610 mm x 610 mm x 34 mm) and ships at 14 lbs (6.35 kg). Mild steel is the base material, and the part is manufactured in North America.

HWCWD2412UBK arrives with door mounting hardware plus a snap-latch lock and two keys. The hardware set includes both a right-hand and a left-hand surface door hinge, so the door can be hung to swing left or right to suit the installed position of the cabinet. Hinge components and latch hardware are shipped loose for field assembly.
