Hammond HWC3018U35BK 18U 30W 35D Swing-Out Wall-Mount Rack Cabinet

The HWC3018U35BK is an 18U enclosed swing-out wall-mount rack cabinet measuring 38.31 in x 30.68 in x 34.78 in (973 mm x 779 mm x 883 mm). It is built for IT, AV and telecom installers who need to mount 19-inch rack equipment on a wall in regulated or high-demand environments, with full rear access for installation and servicing. The centre section swings out on concealed hinges and includes a safety pin lock-out.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel finished in RAL9005 black powder coat, painted black sand textured. The HWC Series is UL2416 rated to 350 lb (158 kg) and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) in accordance with IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10, under UL file E474597. The black powder coat finish is GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant.

This 30-inch-wide version provides 18U of mounting height (31.50 in / 800 mm usable) and 32.50 in (826 mm) equipment mounting depth, the maximum equipment depth that still allows the centre section to swing out unimpeded. Overall internal space measures 34.21 in (869 mm). One pair of adjustable 10-32 tapped rails is supplied with a starter hardware pack including SCREW1032-50 screws; the 30-inch-wide rails have integrated cutouts for optional 1U 19-inch accessories such as cable management and power distribution, and a power bar can be mounted without using U space.

Knockouts are provided on the top, bottom and both sides, plus fan cutout patterns for optional DNMF100AC115 or DNMF100AC230 fans, a 1.75 in x 4.50 in cable opening and integrated ventilation. The HWC3018U35BK ships without a door; solid (HWCSD3018UBK), vented (HWCVD3018UBK) and window (HWCWD3018UBK) doors are available separately, and the cabinet meets PCI DSS requirements with a door installed. Field-replaceable tapped rails can be swapped for square-hole rails. Made in Canada and TAA-compliant.
