Hammond HWC3018U27BK 18U Swing-Out Wall-Mount Rack Cabinet, 30" Wide

The HWC3018U27BK is an 18U enclosed swing-out wall-mount rack cabinet for 19-inch equipment, built for IT, telecom and critical infrastructure installations where floor space is limited but load capacity, security and serviceability still matter. It measures 38.31 in x 30.68 in x 26.78 in (973 mm x 779 mm x 680 mm) and ships without a door, so the closure style can be chosen to suit the site.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel finished in RAL9005 black powder coat (sand textured), a finish the series lists as GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The HWC Series is UL2416 listed (UL file E474597) with a 350 lb (158 kg) rating and is seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) in accordance with IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. Standards noted for this part include cULus, PCI, Zone 4 and TAA compliance, and it is manufactured in Canada.

The centre section swings out on concealed hinges with a safety pin lock-out for full rear access during installation and service. This 30-inch-wide model uses 30 in wide mounting rails with integrated cutouts for optional 1U 19-inch accessories such as cable management and power distribution, plus power bar mounting that does not consume rack U space. Usable mounting height is 31.50 in (800 mm) and usable equipment depth is 24.50 in (622 mm) — the maximum depth that lets the centre section swing out unimpeded — with 26.21 in (666 mm) of overall internal space.
