Hammond HWC3012UTR 12U Tapped 10-32 Rail Pair for 30-Inch Wall Cabinet

HWC3012UTR is a pair of 12U tapped 10-32 mounting rails made for the 30-inch wide HWC Series swing-out wall-mount rack cabinet. It is intended for IT, AV and telecom installers who need to add a second (or replacement) pair of rails inside an existing 30-inch wide, 12U HWC cabinet so equipment can be mounted at additional depth positions or so a damaged rail can be swapped in the field.

The rails are built from mild steel with a black thin-film painted finish, and each rail carries 10-32 tapped holes on typical EIA spacing so 19-inch rack equipment can be bolted directly without cage nuts. The rails are 30 inches wide as used in the HWC platform and include integrated cutouts: a square-hole cutout for cage nuts and a cutout for 1U mounting, so optional 1U 19-inch accessories such as cable management and power distribution can be added.

Per the part drawing, each rail measures 21.00 in (533 mm) across the front view with a 20.50 in (521 mm) / 12U marked rack-unit area, a 19-inch mounting reference of 18.35 in (466 mm), a 17.81 in (452 mm) dimension and a 15.75 in (400 mm) spacing, with a 3.64 in (92 mm) by 2.00 in (51 mm) rail profile. Shipping weight for the pair is 6 lbs (2.72 kg).

HWC3012UTR is sold in pairs; equipment mounting hardware is not included. Within the HWC Series, 10-32 threaded rails are field-replaceable and can be swapped for square-hole rails (HWC3012USR, sold separately) when equipment requires cage nuts. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, made in Canada, and is listed under UL file E474597 with culus, PCI, Zone 4 and TAA-compliant standards noted.
