Hammond HWC3012USR 12U Square-Hole Rail Pair for 30-Inch Cabinet

HWC3012USR is a field-installable pair of 12U square-hole mounting rails made for 30-inch wide HWC Series swing-out wall-mount rack cabinets. It gives integrators, telecom technicians and facilities teams a way to convert or add cage-nut style mounting in place of the tapped 10-32 rails, so equipment with square-hole hardware requirements can be installed in the same cabinet.

The rails are mild steel with a painted black thin film finish, and are sold as a pair (two rails per package). Each rail carries square-hole punching on typical E.I.A. spacing across a 20.50 in (521 mm) mounting height corresponding to 12U, with a U-mark for counting rack positions. Square-hole cutouts accept cage nuts, and a dedicated cutout is provided for 1U mounting. Key drawing dimensions include 21.00 in (533 mm) and 18.35 in (466 mm) overall rail references, a 17.81 in (452 mm) 19-inch mounting reference, 15.75 in (400 mm) and 3.64 in (92 mm) / 2.00 in (51 mm) profile dimensions.

Within the HWC Series, the 10-32 threaded rails are field-replaceable and can be swapped for square-hole rails to support different equipment requirements, and the 30-inch wide mounting rails include integrated cutouts that support optional 1U 19-inch accessories such as cable management and power distribution. HWC3012USR is the square-hole option listed for 12U, 30-inch wide cabinets; the tapped 10-32 equivalent is HWC3012UTR.

Equipment mounting hardware is not included with HWC3012USR. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, manufactured in Canada, and falls under UL file E474597 with standards noted as cULus, PCI, Zone 4 and TAA-compliant.
