The Hammond HSIP165 is a side mounting inner panel from the HMESIP Series, made for HME modular freestanding cabinets that are 1600 mm (62.99 in) high and 500 mm (19.69 in) deep. Panel shops and system integrators use it to build out the side of the cabinet interior, including installation of 19" mounting rails with center support.
It is formed from 14 gauge galvanized steel and supplied unpainted. The panel is 1343 mm (52.87 in) high and 375 mm (14.76 in) wide overall, suiting the 1600 mm cabinet height with a 500 mm deep cabinet. Detail A on the drawing shows 5 mm (0.19 in) diameter holes.
The HSIP165 mounts directly to the frame and can be used in combination with depth grid straps top and bottom. Because the panel is shorter than the cabinet, its reduced height may allow cable pass through between ganged cabinets.
Sold individually and packed in a box, it has a shipping weight of 50 lbs (22.68 kg). The part is listed as RoHS and REACH compliant and is identified by UPC 623980413594 and UNSPSC 39121321.
