The HSCRD is the Rod Connector Kit from the HMEIK Interlock Kit Series, for HME cabinets 600 mm to 1200 mm wide. It is required for connecting to the secondary interlock kit, carrying the interlock between doors so panel builders can tie multiple doors and cabinets into one interlocked system.
Hammond's ordering guide calls for the Rod Connector Kit in three configurations: a single door (main/primary left) to a double door cabinet, where it joins the Main Interlock Kit; a double door (main/primary right or left) to a double door cabinet, again with the Main Interlock Kit; and any additional cabinets, where it is paired with the Secondary Interlock Kit.
