The HP22SSN4 closes an unused 22mm pushbutton hole in an operator panel or control enclosure. It is intended for holes up to a maximum diameter of 0.88 in (22 mm) and has a plug diameter of 1.22 in (31 mm), so it suits OEM machine builders and maintenance technicians who have removed a pilot device or switch and need the panel sealed again.
The plug is finished in brushed natural 304 stainless steel and it seals with an oil resistant gasket. Like the rest of the HPN4SS series it is designed to protect the opening against dust, oil and water. The HPN4SS series is available in 8 sizes; this one is listed as the 22mm Pushbutton size, and it matches the 0.88 in (22 mm) maximum hole of the .5" conduit plug while using a smaller 1.22 in plug face. Its drawing confirms the plug diameter at 30.99 mm [1.22 in].
Installation is by a 10-24 x 0.55" threaded stud with a stainless steel wing nut. The part drawing notes a 5.40 mm [.21 in] dimension that varies with wall thickness.
