Hammond HN4FS903636SS 90x36x36 304 Stainless Type 4X Freestanding Enclosure

The HN4FS903636SS is a 36 in deep, single access Type 4X freestanding enclosure formed from 12 gauge 304 stainless steel. Its extra depth suits panel builders and integrators who need room for rack-mounted equipment or deep components while protecting electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls from hose-down, heavy moisture and corrosion.

Overall size is 90.06 in H x 36.06 in W x 36.06 in D (2,288 x 916 x 916 mm). The part drawing shows a 34.38 in x 80.53 in door, a 33.31 in x 79.31 in door opening and 29.10 in x 78.86 in of clear space available on the door. Welded internal mounting channels carry the optional 90YFW full size panel, finished in white powder paint, or rack equipment rails.

The enclosure uses smooth, continuously welded seams with no knockouts, cutouts or holes, a heavy gauge continuous hinge, a 3-pt padlocking door handle and a seamless poured-in-place gasket. Heavy duty stainless lifting eyebolts are provided with reinforcing support angles, and grounding and bonding studs are fitted in the enclosure and on the door. The finish is natural stainless with a smooth brushed surface.

It is UL 508A Type 3R, 4X and 12 (File E65324) and CSA Type 3R, 4X and 12 (LR21001) listed and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 3 and IEC 60529 IP66. The part is REACH and RoHS compliant and ships on a skid weighing 560 lbs. A 316 stainless version is available as HN4FS903636S16.
