Hammond HN4FS902420S16 90x24x20 316 Stainless Type 4X Freestanding Enclosure

The HN4FS902420S16 is a tall, 90 in single-access freestanding enclosure in 316 stainless steel, from the HN4 FS SS Series. With a narrow 24 in width and 20 in depth, it houses electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls vertically in hose-down, very wet or corrosive locations.

Enclosure size is 90.06 x 24.06 x 20.06 in (2288 x 611 x 510 mm), nominal 90 x 24 x 20 in (2,286 x 610 x 508 mm). The drawing shows a 22.38 in door width, a 21.31 in door opening width and 16.96 x 38.13 in of clear space available on the door. Shipping weight is 350 lbs (158.76 kg), and it ships on a skid.

Seams are smooth and continuously welded, without knockouts, cutouts or holes. The door hangs on a heavy gauge continuous hinge, closes on a seamless poured-in-place gasket and secures with a 3-point padlocking handle. Heavy duty stainless lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are provided. The cover and enclosure are natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed finish.

Welded mounting channels inside accept optional inner panels or rack equipment rails; the optional full size panel for this 90 in height is 90YWFW, in white powder paint. A grounding stud sits in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door. It is UL 508A Type 3R, 4X and 12 and CSA Type 3R, 4X and 12, complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 3 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. The 304 stainless model is HN4FS902420SS.
