Hammond HN4FS726036DA 72x60x36 Type 4 Dual-Access Freestanding Enclosure

The HN4FS726036DA is a Type 4 two-door freestanding enclosure from the HN4 FSTD Series in the dual access configuration, sized 72 in high x 60 in wide x 36 in deep (1829 x 1524 x 914 mm). It is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments, and provides protection where equipment may be hosed down or otherwise be very wet.

The enclosure is formed 12 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. Heavy duty stainless steel lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are provided for handling. The doors hang on heavy gauge continuous hinges, close with a 3-pt padlocking door handle and seal on a seamless poured-in-place gasket. The cover and enclosure are finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating.

As a dual access version, the HN4FS726036DA has doors front and back, which the drawing reflects in its 38.43 in overall depth with handles on both sides. The drawing shows two 28.00 in wide doors of 62.53 in height, each over a 26.55 in wide opening, with a door opening height of 61.31 in. The center post is removable for easy installation of the inner panel; the optional full height/full width panel for this size is 72ZXFW, available in white powder coating or unpainted galvanized steel. A grounding stud is provided in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door.

The series is listed to UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4 and 12 and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships on a skid at 715 lbs (324.32 kg).
