Hammond HN4FS723636SS 72x36x36 304 Stainless NEMA 4X Freestanding Enclosure

Hammond describes the HN4FS723636SS as an N4X 3-pt freestanding enclosure, 72 x 36 x 36, 304 SS. This single-access stainless cabinet offers a 36 x 36 in footprint for large control layouts, protecting electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic equipment where it may be hosed down, stay very wet, or face corrosion.

It measures 72.06 in H x 36.06 in W x 36.06 in D (1,830 x 916 x 916 mm). The part drawing lists a 34.38 in door width, a 33.31 in door opening width and 29.29 x 29.13 in of clear space available on the door. The shipping weight is 500 lbs (226.80 kg) and the enclosure ships on a skid.

The body is formed 12 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. A heavy gauge continuous hinge supports the door, which closes against a seamless poured-in-place gasket and locks with a 3-point padlocking handle. Heavy duty stainless lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are included; the finish is natural stainless, smooth brushed.

Welded mounting channels inside accept optional inner panels or rack equipment rails; the optional full size panel is 72YFW. A grounding stud is in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door. Ratings: UL 508A Type 3R, 4X and 12 (UL File E65324), CSA Type 3R, 4X and 12 (CSA Cert. LR21001), plus compliance with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 3 and IEC 60529 IP66. RoHS and REACH compliant.
