Hammond HN4FS723624S16 72x36x24 316 Stainless Single Access Type 4X Enclosure

The HN4FS723624S16 is a single-access, 316 stainless steel freestanding enclosure with a 36 in wide, 24 in deep body. It is part of the HN4 FS SS Series, designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls where equipment is hosed down, very wet, or where corrosion is a serious problem.

Enclosure dimensions are 72.06 x 36.06 x 24.06 in (1830 x 916 x 611 mm); nominal size 72 x 36 x 24 in (1,829 x 914 x 610 mm). The drawing lists a 34.38 in door width, a 33.31 in door opening width and 29.29 x 29.13 in of clear space available on the door. Shipping weight is 420 lbs (190.51 kg), packed on a skid.

The enclosure is built with smooth, continuously welded seams and has no knockouts, cutouts or holes. Its door is carried on a heavy gauge continuous hinge, seals on a seamless poured-in-place gasket and locks with a 3-point padlocking handle. Heavy duty stainless lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are provided. The finish is natural stainless steel, smooth brushed.

Welded mounting channels inside allow optional inner panels or rack equipment rails; the optional full size panel is 72YFW. A grounding stud in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door are provided. Standards: UL 508A Type 3R, 4X and 12 (File E65324), CSA Type 3R, 4X and 12 (Cert. LR21001), and compliance with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 3 and IEC 60529 IP66. RoHS and REACH compliant. The 304 stainless equivalent is HN4FS723624SS.
