Hammond HN4FS723624DS16 72x36x24 Dual Access 316 Stainless NEMA 4X Enclosure

The HN4FS723624DS16 is the 316 stainless steel, dual access version of the 72 x 36 x 24 in HN4 FS SS freestanding enclosure. Specify it where corrosion is a serious problem or equipment is hosed down, for electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls that need panel or rack mounting.

It measures 72.06 x 36.06 x 24.06 in (1830 x 916 x 611 mm), nominal 72 x 36 x 24 in (1,829 x 914 x 610 mm). The drawing shows a 34.38 in wide door, a 33.31 in door opening width and 29.23 x 29.13 in of clear space available on the door. The shipping weight is 395 lbs (179.17 kg), and it ships on a skid.

Smooth, continuously welded seams leave no knockouts, cutouts or holes. The doors use heavy gauge continuous hinges, a seamless poured-in-place gasket and a 3-point padlocking handle. Heavy duty stainless steel lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are fitted, and the cover and enclosure are natural stainless with a smooth brushed finish.

Mounting channels welded inside accept optional inner panels or rack equipment rails; the optional full size inner panel is 72YFW, finished in white powder paint. Grounding and bonding studs are provided on the body and door. It is UL 508A Type 3R, 4X and 12 (File E65324), CSA Type 3R, 4X and 12 (Cert. LR21001), complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 3 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. The 304 stainless version is HN4FS723624DASS.
