Hammond HN4FS723624DASS 72x36x24 Dual Access 304 Stainless Type 4X Enclosure

The HN4FS723624DASS is a dual access, 304 stainless steel freestanding enclosure with a 36 in wide, 24 in deep body, suited to larger control systems that must withstand hose-down, very wet conditions or serious corrosion. It houses electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls with provision for panel or rack mounting.

Dimensions from the ordering table are 72.06 x 36.06 x 24.06 in (1830 x 916 x 611 mm); nominal 72 x 36 x 24 in (1,829 x 914 x 610 mm). The drawing lists a 34.38 in door width, a 33.31 in door opening width and 29.23 x 29.13 in of clear space available on the door. Shipping weight is 395 lbs (179.17 kg), packed on a skid.

It is formed 12 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. Doors ride on heavy gauge continuous hinges, seal with a seamless poured-in-place gasket and close with a 3-point padlocking handle. Heavy duty stainless lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are provided, and the finish is natural, smooth brushed stainless.

Welded internal channels accept optional inner panels or rack equipment rails, with 72YFW listed as the optional full size inner panel. A grounding stud is in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door.
