Hammond HN4FS723618S16 72x36x18 316 Stainless Type 4X Freestanding Enclosure

The HN4FS723618S16 combines a 36 in wide HN4 FS SS Series body with an 18.06 in depth in 316 stainless steel. This single-access enclosure is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls in hose-down, very wet or seriously corrosive environments, where wall space is wide but floor depth is limited.

Enclosure size is 72.06 x 36.06 x 18.06 in (1830 x 916 x 459 mm), nominal 72 x 36 x 18 in (1,829 x 914 x 457 mm). The drawing lists a 34.38 in wide door, a 33.31 in door opening width and 29.29 x 29.13 in of clear space available on the door for operator devices. Shipping weight is 340 lbs (154.22 kg) on a skid.

Seams are smooth and continuously welded, free of knockouts, cutouts or holes. The door hangs on a heavy gauge continuous hinge, seals against a seamless poured-in-place gasket and closes with a new 3-point padlocking handle. Heavy duty stainless lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are provided. Cover and enclosure are natural stainless with a smooth brushed finish.

Welded mounting channels inside accept optional inner panels or rack equipment rails, with 72YFW as the optional full size panel. A grounding stud sits in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door. Ratings include UL 508A Type 3R, 4X and 12, CSA Type 3R, 4X and 12, and compliance with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 3 and IEC 60529 IP66. RoHS and REACH compliant.
