Hammond HN4FS723024SS 72x30x24 304 Stainless NEMA 4X Freestanding Enclosure

It protects electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls in places where equipment is hosed down, stays very wet, or where corrosion is a serious problem.

It measures 72.06 x 30.06 x 24.06 in (1,830 x 764 x 611 mm). The drawing gives a 28.38 in door width, a 27.31 in door opening width and 23.12 x 29.13 in of clear space available on the door. Shipping weight is 365 lbs (165.56 kg), and the enclosure is packed on a skid.

The body is formed 12 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. A heavy gauge continuous hinge supports the door, a seamless poured-in-place gasket seals it and a 3-point padlocking handle secures it. Heavy duty stainless steel lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are provided. The cover and enclosure have a natural, smooth brushed stainless finish.

Welded mounting channels inside take optional inner panels or rack equipment rails; 72XFW is the optional full size panel, in white powder paint. A grounding stud is provided in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door. It is UL 508A Type 3R, 4X and 12 (UL File E65324) and CSA Type 3R, 4X and 12 (CSA Cert. LR21001), complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 3 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. The 316 stainless equivalent is HN4FS723024S16.
