Hammond HN4FS723018S16 72x30x18 316 Stainless Type 4X Freestanding Enclosure

The HN4FS723018S16 widens the HN4 FS SS single access line to 30 in while keeping a shallow 18.06 in depth, in 316 stainless steel. It is designed for electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls in applications where equipment may be hosed down, is very wet, or where corrosion is a serious problem.

Enclosure dimensions are 72.06 x 30.06 x 18.06 in (1830 x 764 x 459 mm), nominally 72 x 30 x 18 in (1,829 x 762 x 457 mm). The drawing shows a 28.38 in wide door, a 27.31 in door opening width and 23.12 x 29.13 in of clear space available on the door. Shipping weight is 300 lbs (136.08 kg), skid packed.

Construction uses smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cutouts or holes. The door is supported by a heavy gauge continuous hinge, sealed by a seamless poured-in-place gasket and fastened with a 3-point padlocking handle. Heavy duty stainless lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles aid installation. The cover and enclosure are natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed finish.

Welded mounting channels inside accept optional inner panels or rack equipment rails, with 72XFW listed as the optional full size panel. A grounding stud is provided in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door. It is UL 508A Type 3R, 4X and 12 (File E65324) and CSA Type 3R, 4X and 12 (Cert. LR21001), complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 3 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. The 304 stainless model is HN4FS723018SS.
