Hammond HN4FS722424SS 72x24x24 304 Stainless NEMA 4X Freestanding Enclosure

Hammond lists the HN4FS722424SS as an N4X 3-pt freestanding enclosure, 72 x 24 x 24, in 304 stainless steel. This single-access cabinet gives control panel builders and plant engineers a square 24 x 24 in footprint for electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls in wet, hose-down or corrosive locations.

It measures 72.06 x 24.06 x 24.06 in (1,830 x 611 x 611 mm). The part drawing shows a 22.38 in wide door, a 21.31 in door opening width and 17.32 x 29.13 in of clear space available on the door for operator devices. Shipping weight is 315 lbs (142.88 kg) and it is packed on a skid.

The body is formed 12 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. The door rides on a heavy gauge continuous hinge, seals against a seamless poured-in-place gasket and latches with a 3-point padlocking handle. Heavy duty lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are provided, and the exterior is natural stainless with a smooth brushed finish.

Welded internal mounting channels accept optional inner panels or rack equipment rails; 72WFW is the optional full size panel, finished in white powder paint. A grounding stud is fitted in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door. The enclosure is UL 508A Type 3R, 4X and 12 (File E65324) and CSA Type 3R, 4X and 12 (Cert. LR21001), complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 3 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. The 316 stainless version is HN4FS722424S16.
