Hammond HN4FS722424S16 72x24x24 316 Stainless Single Access Type 4X Enclosure

The HN4FS722424S16 pairs a 24.06 in depth with a 24.06 in width in a single-access, 316 stainless steel freestanding enclosure. Part of the HN4 FS SS Series, it is intended for electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls that must survive hose-down, very wet conditions or aggressive corrosion.

Full dimensions are 72.06 x 24.06 x 24.06 in (1830 x 611 x 611 mm), nominally 72 x 24 x 24 in. From the drawing: door width 22.38 in, door opening width 21.31 in, and clear space on the door of 17.32 x 29.13 in. The unit ships on a skid with a shipping weight of 320 lbs (145.15 kg).

The body features smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cutouts or holes and a natural stainless steel exterior with a smooth brushed finish. A heavy gauge continuous hinge supports the door, a seamless poured-in-place gasket seals it and a new 3-point padlocking door handle closes it. Heavy duty stainless lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles simplify positioning.

Welded mounting channels inside accept optional inner panels or rack equipment rails, with 72WFW as the optional full size panel. The enclosure has a grounding stud, and the door a bonding stud. It is listed to UL 508A Type 3R, 4X and 12 and CSA Type 3R, 4X and 12, and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 3 plus IEC 60529 IP66 (UL File E65324, CSA Cert. LR21001). RoHS and REACH compliant. HN4FS722424SS is the 304 stainless equivalent.
