Hammond HN4FS722424DASS 72x24x24 Dual Access 304 Stainless Type 4X Enclosure

The HN4FS722424DASS is the dual access, 304 stainless steel version of the 72 x 24 x 24 in HN4 FS SS freestanding enclosure. It suits OEM engineers and integrators housing electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls in areas that are hosed down, very wet or corrosive.

Enclosure dimensions are 72.06 in H x 24.06 in W x 24.06 in D (1830 x 611 x 611 mm), nominally 72 x 24 x 24 in. The drawing gives a 22.38 in wide door with a 21.31 in wide door opening and 17.32 x 29.13 in of clear space on the door. Shipping weight is 315 lbs (142.88 kg), packed on a skid.

Construction is formed 12 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. Doors are supported by heavy gauge continuous hinges, sealed with a seamless poured-in-place gasket and closed with a 3-point padlocking handle. Stainless lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are provided, and the cover and enclosure carry a smooth brushed natural stainless finish.

Welded internal mounting channels accept optional inner panels or rack equipment rails; the listed optional full size inner panel is 72WFW. A grounding stud is provided in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door. It is listed to UL 508A Type 3R, 4X and 12 and CSA Type 3R, 4X and 12, and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 3 plus IEC 60529 IP66 (UL File E65324, CSA Cert. LR21001). RoHS and REACH compliant. The 316 stainless dual access equivalent is HN4FS722424DS16.
