Hammond HLP6U31LG 6U 31" Low-Profile Wall Cabinet, Light Gray

The HLP6U31LG is a 6U low-profile wall-mount cabinet from the HLP Series, built for mounting 19-inch EIA-310 compliant equipment in network closets, telecom rooms and structured cabling installations. It is a UL Listed 2416 wall-mount rack (UL file E474597) load rated to 200 lb (90 kg) of installed equipment, making it suitable for IT, AV and telecom work where a defined load rating and installation integrity have to be documented.

Construction is mild steel with an engineered frame that carries the same load rating across all sizes in the series. This version is finished in RAL7035 Light Gray (painted light grey textured per the drawing), while the mounting rails are painted white and are tapped #10-32. The cabinet ships as an enclosed wall rack with a rear body, door cover, a 6U fixed main mounting rail set (HLP6UFR), 2U rotating rails (HLP2UR), up to two installed locking latches (DLRKHLP), 25 10-32 mounting screws and installation instructions.

Overall dimensions are 31.00 in H x 27.50 in W x 15.46 in D (787 x 699 x 393 mm), with a nominal listed size of 31 x 30 x 15 in and a shipping weight of 76 lbs (34.47 kg). Rack capacity is 2U pivoting plus 6U fixed. Maximum vertical usable depth is 21.90 in (556 mm) with both rails installed, or 26.90 in (683 mm) with the fixed rail only.

The internal adjustable rails offer 180° of flexibility, and the secondary 2U bracket can be positioned in five configurations - vertical up or down, 30° up or down, and 90° facing the user - so HLP6U31LG accommodates varying device depths. Top and bottom double knock-outs handle cable entry, a 4 in fan mount grill pattern is provided, and the door can be reversed using the provided mounting holes. Wall mounting hardware is not included. The product is TAA-compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant and manufactured in Canada.
