Hammond HLP4U43BK 43"H 4U Wall-Mount Rack, 200 lb Load Rated

The HLP4U43BK is a 43" high low-profile wall-mount rack built for 19" EIA-310 compliant equipment in structured IT and telecom installations. It is part of the HLP Series, a UL Listed 2416 wall-mount rack platform load rated to 200 lb (90 kg) for installed equipment, making it suitable for network closets, telecom rooms and regulated installations where defined load ratings and installation integrity are required.

Construction is mild steel with a RAL9005 black powder coat finish (described on the drawing as painted sand texture black), a GREENGUARD Gold and TSCA compliant low-emitting finish intended for indoor IT environments. The mounting rails are painted white and are tapped #10-32. Under UL 2416, wall-mount racks are evaluated using cabinet weight plus the desired load with a 2x safety multiplier (for example, 100 lb cabinet + 200 lb load x 2 = 600 lb static test load).

Nominal size for this part is 43 in x 30 in x 11 in (1,092 mm x 762 mm x 279 mm), with drawing overall dimensions of 43.00 in high x 27.50 in wide x 11.15 in deep (1092 x 698 x 283 mm). Rack capacity is listed as 2U pivot plus 4U fixed, and the part attributes list 6 rack units. Maximum vertical usable depth is 33.90 in (861 mm) with both rails installed, or 38.90 in (988 mm) with the fixed rail only.

The rotating 2U bracket assembly provides 180 degrees of motion, and the 4U fixed rail supports five positions - vertical up or down, 30 degrees up or down, and 90 degrees facing the user - so HLP4U43BK can be set up for varying equipment depths. The body includes double knock-outs top and bottom for cable entry, a 4" fan mount grill pattern and mounting holes to reverse the door. Wall mounting hardware is not included. HLP4U43BK is TAA-compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant and made in Canada.
