Hammond HGV55 550mm Vertical Grid Straps, 75mm Wide Flush Mount, Pair

The HGV55 is a pair of 550 mm long, 75 mm wide vertical grid straps with flush mount brackets for the HME Grid System. Vertical grid straps run up the cabinet and mount flush to other straps, with the butt end bracket included, creating a smooth continuous mounting surface for panel builders and OEM engineers fitting components inside modular freestanding enclosures.

Each strap is 14 gauge galvanized steel, 75 mm (2.95 in) wide. The listed length is 21.65 in (550 mm) and the part drawing shows 549 mm (21.61 in). Like the other grid straps, it features a pattern of alternating square holes (for cage nuts) and round holes (for M5 or #12 screws) at standard 25 mm centers, with the drawing detailing 10 mm square holes and 5 mm round holes.

The 550 mm length is listed with "n/a" under Fits Full Height HME, so it is a partial-height strap rather than a full-height one; the full-height vertical straps in the series are the 1150 to 1950 mm lengths, which require 75 mm wide depth grid straps mounted in the cabinet above and below.

Straps are sold in pairs and packed in a box with a shipping weight of 6 lbs (2.72 kg). They are REACH and RoHS compliant. Cage nuts for the square holes and M5 or #12 thread-forming screws for the round holes are available separately in the Grid System hardware range.
