Hammond HGD38 75mm Depth Grid Straps for 800mm Deep Enclosure, Pair

The HGD38 is a pair of 75 mm wide depth grid straps for 800 mm deep HME modular enclosures, the deepest size in the depth grid strap range. They are part of the Grid System, which lets panel builders and OEM engineers create mounting points across the depth of the cabinet rather than only on the inner panel.

Each strap is constructed of 14 gauge galvanized steel and has a mounting flange at either end. The listed length is 24.53 in (623 mm), while the part drawing shows 623 mm (24.52 in) between flanges and 675 mm (26.57 in) overall. Grid straps feature a pattern of alternating square holes (for cage nuts) and round holes (for M5 or #12 screws) at standard 25 mm centers; the drawing details the square holes at 10 mm and the round holes at 5 mm.

Being 75 mm wide, these straps also play a role in full-height vertical grid runs: to achieve a full height vertical strap, 2 x 75 mm depth grid straps are required for the top and bottom, and the longer vertical grid straps require 75 mm wide depth grid straps mounted in the cabinet above and below.

Straps are sold in pairs and ship in a box with a shipping weight of 5 lbs (2.27 kg). They are REACH and RoHS compliant. Hardware is available separately: square holes accommodate the listed cage nuts, and round holes accommodate the listed M5 and #12 thread-forming screws.
