The HGDSR4 is a pair of 25 mm wide door support rails for HME modular enclosure doors 400 mm wide, the narrowest door width in the rail range. Door support rails are one of the four styles in the Grid System and give panel builders a way to add a Grid System mounting rail sized to the door width of a modular freestanding enclosure.
Each rail is made from 14 gauge galvanized steel and has a mounting flange at either end. The listed length is 9.76 in (248 mm); the part drawing shows 247 mm (9.71 in) between the flanges and 300 mm (11.81 in) overall. Unlike grid straps, door support rails have round holes only, and the drawing details those holes at 5 mm (0.19 in).
The round holes accommodate the M5 and #12 thread-forming screws listed for the Grid System (1421HPTM525 M5 x 12 mm and 1421CT25 #12-24 x 0.5" packs), so no cage nuts are needed on the rail.
