Hammond H1SP45U42BK 45U Black Solid Side Panel, 42-Inch Deep Cabinet

The H1SP45U42BK is a solid mild steel side panel for 45U H1 Series server rack cabinets built on the 42 in deep frame. Side panels are not included with H1 cabinet assemblies, so this panel is the part data centre, enterprise IT and network teams order to close in a cabinet for airflow containment, dust control and controlled access. It is sold individually, so a cabinet standing on its own needs two.

This panel is finished in RAL9005 black textured powder coat to match black H1 cabinets, and a white equivalent (H1SP45U42WH) is listed for white cabinets. Construction is mild steel, consistent with the welded steel H1 platform. Overall panel dimensions are 78.69 in (1999 mm) high by 32.38 in (822 mm) with a 0.72 in (18 mm) profile, and shipping weight is 56 lbs (25.40 kg).

H1SP45U42BK fits the 45U H1 cabinets that measure 85.65 in (2176 mm) high and 43.91 in (1115 mm) deep, including the 24 in wide H12445U42BK, the 30 in wide H13045U42BK and the 31.5 in wide H13145U42BK, plus their white counterparts. Those cabinets provide 78.75 in (2000 mm) of usable mounting height and 39.00 in (991 mm) of usable mounting depth.

The panel assembly includes two locking side panel latches and two 10-32 studs, and mounting hardware is included, so installation is a tool-light operation on an already-assembled cabinet. Listed standards for the part include cULus (UL file E474597), PCI, seismic zone 4 and TAA compliance, and the panel is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant, manufactured in Canada.
