Hammond H1SP42U48BK 42U Solid Side Panel for 48" Deep Cabinets

The H1SP42U48BK is a solid steel side panel sized for 42U H1 Series server rack cabinets built to the 48 in depth designation (49.91 in / 1268 mm overall cabinet depth). Because H1 cabinet assemblies ship without side panels, data center, enterprise IT and network teams order this panel to close in a standalone cabinet, or to finish the exposed ends of a bayed row.

The panel is formed from mild steel with a black textured powder coat finish and measures 73.44 in (1865 mm) high by 38.38 in (975 mm) deep, with a .72 in (18 mm) return depth. It is supplied as a single panel, so a fully enclosed cabinet requires two. Shipping weight is 53 lbs (24.04 kg).

Installation is tool-light: the panel carries two 10-32 studs and two locking H1 side panel latches, and mounting hardware is included. Locking latches support controlled access to the cabinet interior, which is useful where security and equipment segregation matter.
