Hammond H1BS2442WH 24W x 42D Solid Bottom Panel, White Steel

The H1BS2442WH is a solid bottom panel for Hammond H1 cabinet frames, sized for a 24 in wide by 42 in deep cabinet. It closes off the base of the frame so air is drawn through intended paths rather than leaking under the cabinet, making it a practical addition for IT and AV integrators, data centre and network room builders, and facilities teams managing thermal performance in enclosed racks.

Construction is 14 gauge mild steel, finished in RAL9003 white powder paint. The paint system complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality, and the part is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases, and manufactured in North America.

The panel measures 26.36 in (669 mm) by 35.86 in (911 mm) overall with a 0.07 in (2 mm) material thickness, and ships at 14.5 lbs (6.58 kg). Cable access is provided by six 4.00 x 7.00 inch knockout cable entries, plus twenty-four 0.22 in (6 mm) knockouts. Eight 0.22 in (6 mm) holes are provided for fastening.

Each H1BS2442WH ships with its mounting hardware: six 8-32 clip nuts in black oxide finish and six 8-32 x 0.5 in zinc plated machine screws, available separately as replacement kit CLPKIT832-6. Installation is a straightforward clip-nut-and-screw attachment to the H1 frame, so the panel can be added during cabinet build-out or retrofitted later.
