The H13042U42BK is a 42U H1 Series data center server cabinet finished in RAL9005 Black, built for data centers, enterprise IT, network infrastructure and high-density server and storage deployments. At 30.00 in (762 mm) wide, it provides room for vertical cable management and vertical accessories alongside the mounting rails, and it adds 12U of in-rail rack units — 1U cutouts in the 30 in wide rails that can be used for cable pass-through or for mounting 1U equipment.
Construction is a 14-gauge mild steel welded frame with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets and 16-gauge doors, UL2416 listed with a 3,000 lb (1,360 kg) load rating (UL file E474597) and seismic rated to 1,200 lb dynamic load under IBC, CBC, NBC and ASCE standards. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the cabinet is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America.
Overall dimensions are 80.37 in high x 30.00 in wide x 43.91 in deep, with 73.50 in (42U) of usable mounting height and 39.00 in of usable mounting depth. Two pairs of infinitely adjustable, EIA-310 compliant 12-gauge square hole rails accept 10-32 cage nuts, and a 50-pack starter set of CAGKIT1032-50 screws and cage nuts is included.
