Hammond EN4SD723612SSR 72x36x12-Inch Quarter-Turn 304 Stainless Enclosure

The EN4SD723612SSR is a 72 in x 36 in x 12 in (1,829 mm x 914 mm x 305 mm) Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure in 304 stainless steel, the tallest size in the series ordering table. It is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it in harsh, industrial environments, giving panel builders a very large wall-hung mounting area.

The enclosure is formed from 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a formed lip that excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. The hinged door closes with Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns, seals on a seamless poured-in place gasket, and hangs on hidden hinges with stainless steel hinge pins. A door alignment guide is provided on 36 in wide enclosures, the door can be removed for modifications, and adapter kit EHLLSAK reverses its swing. The finish is natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed surface.

Per the drawing, the door opening is 34.31 in x 70.31 in, the door is 36.00 in x 71.97 in, and 30.65 in x 67.87 in of clear space is available on the door. Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 34.50 in x 70.51 in centres, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers is included. Collar studs accept the optional EP7236 inner panel (70.20 in x 34.20 in), which is required at this width to maintain UL/CSA.

The EN4SD723612SSR is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. It ships on a skid at 270 lbs (122.47 kg). The 316 version is EN4SD723612S16R.
