Hammond EN4SD723612S16R 72x36x12-Inch Quarter-Turn 316 Stainless Enclosure

The EN4SD723612S16R is the tallest size in the Eclipse Series stainless wallmount ordering table, measuring 72 in x 36 in x 12 in (1,829 mm x 914 mm x 305 mm), here in 316 stainless steel. It is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it in harsh, industrial environments, and suits large control systems where a 316 grade is specified.

The enclosure is formed 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a formed lip that excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. The hinged door is secured by Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns and seals on a seamless poured-in place gasket, with hidden hinges and stainless steel hinge pins. A door alignment guide is provided at the 36 in width, doors can be removed for modifications, and adapter kit EHLLSAK allows the door swing to be reversed. The finish is natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed look.

The drawing gives a 34.31 in x 70.31 in door opening, a 36.00 in x 71.97 in door and 30.65 in x 70.00 in of clear space available on the door. The 0.50 in wall mounting holes are on 34.50 in x 70.51 in centres, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers is included. The optional EP7236 inner panel measures 70.20 in x 34.20 in (1783 mm x 869 mm) and mounts on collar studs; an inner panel is required at this width to maintain UL/CSA.

The EN4SD723612S16R is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IP66. It ships on a skid at 248 lbs (112.49 kg). EN4SD723612SSR is the 304 version.
