Hammond EN4SD483616SSWH 48x36x16-Inch White 304 Stainless Type 4X Enclosure

The EN4SD483616SSWH is the deep version of the 48 x 36 in painted white Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure, measuring 48 in x 36 in x 16 in (1,219 mm x 914 mm x 406 mm) in 304 stainless steel. The 16 in depth gives room for bulkier electrical and electronic equipment that must be protected against harsh, industrial environments, in settings where a white finish is required.

Construction is formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth, and a formed lip keeps flowing liquids and contaminants out. Cover and enclosure are finished in recoatable smooth RAL 9003 White powder coating inside and out. The door is secured with a 3 point handle in 316 stainless steel with a padlockable feature, seals on a seamless poured-in place gasket, and swings on stainless steel hinges and hinge pins. Door stiffeners are provided where required; doors are removable and interchangeable.

The drawing shows a 34.41 in x 46.28 in door opening, a 35.97 in x 47.97 in door and 30.65 in x 43.88 in of clear space available on the door. Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 34.50 in x 46.50 in centres, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers is included. Collar studs are provided for the optional EP4836 inner panel, 46.20 in x 34.20 in (1173 mm x 869 mm).

The EN4SD483616SSWH is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IP66. It has a bonding stud on the door and a grounding stud in the enclosure, and ships boxed at 148 lbs (67.13 kg).
