Hammond EN4SD42368SSR 42x36x8 in 304 Stainless Enclosure, Extra Quarter Turns

The EN4SD42368SSR is a 42 in high x 36 in wide x 8 in deep (1,067 x 914 x 203 mm) Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure in 304 stainless steel, supplied with extra quarter turns as noted in its long description. It is built to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it against harsh, industrial environments, giving panel builders a large, shallow wall-hung envelope.

The enclosure is formed from 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a natural brushed finish. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door. Latching is Type A, stainless steel slotted quarter turns, with stainless steel hinge pins. As a 36 in wide enclosure, it is provided with a door alignment guide. The door is removable and interchangeable, and swing can be reversed with adapter kit EHLLSAK.

The drawing shows a door opening of 34.31 in x 40.31 in (W x H), a door of 35.97 in x 41.97 in, 30.65 in x 40.00 in of clear space available on the door, and an 8.70 in inside depth. Wall mounting uses Ø 0.50 in holes, with the included hardware kit of panel mounting nuts and sealing washers.

No panel is included. The optional EP4236 inner panel (40.20 in x 34.20 in) mounts on collar studs and is required to maintain UL/CSA because the enclosure is wider than 24 in; a mounting foot kit is required for UL/CSA external mounting. Ratings include UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and IEC 60529 IP 66. This size is listed in 304 stainless only, and ships at 106 lbs (48.08 kg).
