Hammond EN4SD243010S16 24x30x10 Type 4X 316 Stainless Wallmount Enclosure

The EN4SD243010S16 is a wide-format Eclipse Series enclosure: 24 in high, 30 in wide and 10 in deep (610 x 762 x 254 mm), made from 316 stainless steel for wallmount applications. Its landscape shape suits long rows of components, and it is intended to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it in harsh industrial environments.

Formed 14 gauge 316 stainless steel, continuously welded seams ground smooth, a formed lip that excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in-place gasket make up the body. The hinged door has hidden hinges with stainless steel pins and closes with Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns. Both cover and enclosure have a natural, smooth brushed stainless finish.

The drawing gives a 22.49 in high by 28.49 in wide door opening, 10.70 in inside depth and 22.00 x 28.00 in of clear space on the door. Rear mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter. The optional EP2430 inner panel is 22.20 x 28.20 in and mounts on the collar studs provided. Because this enclosure is wider than 24 in (600 mm), an inner panel is required to maintain UL/CSA.

It is listed UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66; a mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. A wall-mounting hardware kit with sealing washers is included. Shipping weight is 53 lbs (24.04 kg); the 304 version is EN4SD243010SS.
