Hammond EN4SD243010LG 24x30x10 Type 4 Steel Wallmount Enclosure, Light Gray

This 24" high by 30" wide Eclipse enclosure, part number EN4SD243010LG, gives you 10 in (254 mm) of depth in a single-door wallmount housing rated NEMA Type 3R, 4 and 12. It is intended for enclosing electrical and electronic equipment exposed to harsh, industrial environments.

Construction is formed 14 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams ground smooth, a formed lip that excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in-place gasket. The enclosure and door are phosphatized and powder coated inside and out in RAL 7035 textured light gray (LG); the matching ANSI 61 gray version is EN4SD243010GY. Hinges are 304 stainless steel with stainless steel hinge pins, hidden for a clean look.

The door uses latch Type A, slotted quarter turns, with the quarter turn latch zinc diecast in a black epoxy finish. The drawing shows a 23.97 in x 29.97 in door, a 22.48 in x 28.48 in door opening, and 22.00 in x 28.00 in of clear space available on the door. Doors can be removed for modifications and are interchangeable, and the door swing can be reversed with adapter kit EHLLSAK.

For mounting, the back has Ø0.50 in holes on a 22.50 in x 28.50 in pattern, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall mounting holes is included. Collar studs accept the optional EP2430 inner panel (22.20 in (564 mm) x 28.20 in (716 mm)), which is ordered separately and, because this enclosure is wider than 24 in, is required to maintain UL/CSA. A bonding stud is provided on the door and a grounding stud in the body. Shipping weight is 64 lbs (29.03 kg).

The EN4SD243010LG is listed to UL 508A Type 3R, 4 and 12 (UL file E65324) and CSA Type 3R, 4 and 12 (certificate LR21001), and complies with IEC 60529 IP66 and NEMA Type 3R, 4 and 12. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
