Hammond EN4SD24248SS 24x24x8 In 304 Stainless Type 4X Wallmount Enclosure

Designed to protect electrical and electronic equipment in harsh, industrial settings, the EN4SD24248SS is a 24 x 24 x 8 in (610 mm x 610 mm x 203 mm) wallmount enclosure from the Eclipse Series, made in 304 stainless steel. It is the 304 stainless steel version of this size; the 316 stainless equivalent is EN4SD24248S16. Hidden hinges and a clean latching system give it a finish suited to high-tech equipment installations.

The body is formed from 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth, and a formed lip on the enclosure excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. A seamless poured-in-place gasket seals the hinged door, which uses Latch Type A: stainless steel slotted quarter turns with stainless steel hinge pins. Cover and enclosure are natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed finish.

Per the part drawing, the door opening is 22.49 in wide by 22.49 in high, with 22.00 x 22.00 in of clear space available on the door. Inside depth is 8.70 in, and wall mounting holes (Ø0.50 in) are spaced 22.50 in by 22.50 in. Shipping weight is 43 lbs (19.50 kg). Collar studs are provided for an inner panel; the matching optional panel is EP2424, 22.20 in (564 mm) high by 22.20 in (564 mm) wide.

The EN4SD24248SS is listed to UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 (UL File E65324) and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 (CSA Cert. LR21001), and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, and the included hardware kit supplies panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall mounting holes.
