Hammond EN4SD241610S16 24x16x10 in 316 Stainless Type 4X Tall Enclosure

The EN4SD241610S16 is a tall, narrow Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure, 24 in high x 16 in wide x 10 in deep (610 x 406 x 254 mm), in 316 stainless steel. It is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it against harsh, industrial environments where 316 material is preferred.

Formed 16 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth makes up the enclosure. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door. Latching is Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns, and stainless steel hinge pins allow the door to be removed for modifications; it is interchangeable and can be reversed with adapter kit EHLLSAK. The finish is natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed finish.

Drawing dimensions: door opening 14.52 in x 22.52 in (W x H), door 15.97 in x 23.97 in, clear space available on the door 14.00 in x 22.00 in, and inside depth 10.71 in. The enclosure mounts through Ø 0.50 in wall holes; panel mounting nuts and sealing washers are included in the hardware kit.

No panel is supplied. The optional EP2416 inner panel (22.20 in x 14.20 in) mounts on collar studs, and there is a bonding stud on the door with a grounding stud in the enclosure. Ratings: UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12; NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13; IEC 60529 IP 66. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. Shipping weight is 31 lbs (14.06 kg). EN4SD241610SS is the 304 version.
