Hammond EN4SD20208SS 20x20x8 In 304 Stainless Type 4X Wallmount Enclosure

Need a square, 8 in deep stainless box for a wall? The EN4SD20208SS is a 304 stainless steel Type 4X Eclipse enclosure, 20 in x 20 in x 8 in (508 mm x 508 mm x 203 mm), intended to house electrical and/or electronic equipment in harsh, industrial wallmount applications. It is the 304 stainless steel version of this size; the 316 stainless equivalent is EN4SD20208S16.

The body is formed from 16 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth, and a formed lip on the enclosure excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. A seamless poured-in-place gasket seals the hinged door, which uses Latch Type A: stainless steel slotted quarter turns with stainless steel hinge pins. Cover and enclosure are natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed finish.

Per the part drawing, the door opening is 18.52 in wide by 18.52 in high, with 18.00 x 18.00 in of clear space available on the door. Inside depth is 8.71 in, and wall mounting holes (Ø0.50 in) are spaced 18.50 in by 18.50 in. Shipping weight is 30 lbs (13.61 kg). Collar studs are provided for an inner panel; the matching optional panel is EP2020, 18.20 in (462 mm) high by 18.20 in (462 mm) wide.

The EN4SD20208SS is listed to UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 (UL File E65324) and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 (CSA Cert. LR21001), and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, and the included hardware kit supplies panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall mounting holes.
