Hammond EN4SD161610GY 16x16x10 In Type 4 Steel Wallmount Enclosure, Gray

The Hammond Eclipse Series EN4SD161610GY is a compact, square 16 x 16 in single-door wallmount enclosure with a 10 in depth, rated NEMA Type 3R, 4 and 12 and finished in ANSI 61 Gray. It is designed to enclose electrical and/or electronic equipment and protect it against harsh, industrial environments in wallmount applications. The square 16 x 16 in face with a 10 in depth gives a compact footprint on the wall while leaving depth for deeper components.

The body is formed from 16 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams ground smooth, and a formed lip on the enclosure excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. A seamless poured-in-place gasket seals the door, which hangs on hidden 304 stainless steel hinges with stainless steel hinge pins. This size uses latch Type A (slotted quarter turns). Cover and enclosure are phosphatized and powder finished inside and out in ANSI 61 smooth gray (GY).

Enclosure dimensions are 16.00 in (406 mm) high x 16.00 in (406 mm) wide x 10.00 in (254 mm) deep; the drawing shows a door opening of 14.52 x 14.52 in (W x H) and an overall depth of 10.82 in including the door. It ships less panel: the matching optional inner panel is EP1616 (14.20 in (361 mm) x 14.20 in (361 mm)), mounted on the collar studs provided. Shipping weight is 23 lbs (10.43 kg).

The included hardware kit supplies panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall mounting holes, and a bonding stud on the door plus a grounding stud in the enclosure support grounding. Compliance at a glance:
