Hammond EN4SD16126GY 16x12x6" Type 4 Steel Wallmount Enclosure, Gray

The EN4SD16126GY is a 16 x 12 x 6 in (406 mm x 305 mm x 152 mm) Eclipse Series Type 4 mild steel wallmount enclosure with a single hinged door and slotted quarter-turn latching (latch type A). It is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it in harsh industrial environments for wallmount applications. The portrait 16 in high by 12 in wide face with 6 in depth favours vertical component stacks and top-to-bottom wiring runs.

The enclosure is formed from 16 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams ground smooth and a formed lip that excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. A seamless poured-in-place gasket seals the door, which hangs on 304 stainless steel hinges with stainless steel hinge pins; the door is removable for modifications and interchangeable. The quarter-turn latches are zinc diecast with a black epoxy finish. This is the ANSI 61 gray version, phosphatized and finished in a smooth recoatable powder coat inside and out; the RAL 7035 textured light gray equivalent is EN4SD16126LG.

No inner panel is included: the matching optional panel is EP1612, 14.20 in high by 10.20 in wide, and collar studs are provided to mount it. Per the drawing, the door opening is 10.52 x 14.52 in and there is 14.00 x 10.00 in of clear space on the door. A hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall mounting holes is included, along with a bonding stud on the door and a grounding stud in the enclosure. Door swing can be reversed with adapter kit EHLLSAK.

Ratings are UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, and 12 (UL File E65324, CSA Cert. LR21001); a mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. It also complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, and 12 and IEC 60529 IP66, is REACH and RoHS compliant, and ships in a box at 16 lbs (7.26 kg).
