Hammond EN4SD161210S16 16x12x10 in 316 Stainless Type 4X Wall Enclosure

The EN4SD161210S16 is a compact 16 in high x 12 in wide x 10 in deep (406 x 305 x 254 mm) Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure made from 316 stainless steel. At 10 in deep, it gives extra room front-to-back for electrical and electronic equipment that must be protected from harsh, industrial environments.

The enclosure is formed from 16 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants and the door seals on a seamless poured-in place gasket. The door uses Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns and stainless steel hinge pins, can be removed for modification, and can be reversed with adapter kit EHLLSAK. The finish is natural brushed stainless.

The drawing lists a door opening of 10.52 in x 14.52 in (W x H), a door of 11.97 in x 15.97 in, 10.00 in x 14.00 in of clear space on the door, and a 10.71 in inside depth. The enclosure mounts to a wall through Ø 0.50 in holes, using the included panel mounting nuts and sealing washers.

It ships without a panel; the optional EP1612 inner panel measures 14.20 in (361 mm) x 10.20 in (259 mm) and fits the provided collar studs. Ratings: UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12; NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13; IEC 60529 IP 66. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements.
